What's CodeMeta

CodeMeta is an initiative in search of creating better semantic artefacts for software in general and Research Software in particular. This initiative has created:

• The CodeMeta vocabulary - A subset of Schema.org
• The CodeMeta crosswalk table - mapping the metadata landscape

Additionally, there is a thriving academic community dedicated to discussing and developing software metadata in the context of this initiative.
